How to register Collaborations

Overview

Collaborations in ScienceSoft are groups of Organizations or individuals sharing common interests and performing joint activities. Collaborations can develop or use software through their members and usually take the form of projects or research initiatives.

New Collaborations can be registered by any authenticated user. Once a Collaboration is registered, the user becomes the owner of that Collaboration page and can edit the existing content, but not delete the Collaboration altogether. Before a Collaboration can be registered, it is necessary to login with a valid ScienceSoft account.

Authentication and Login

Before you can login into ScienceSoft, you need to have a valid account. For the time being valid accounts are standard CERN accounts or lightweight CERN accounts. Lightweight CERN account can be provided to anybody having a valid e-mail address and can be used on a number of CERN-hosted applications, including ScienceSoft. Login using Facebook, Gmail or other OpenID accounts is being set up. For more information, please refer to the Login page
