Resource Entitlement Management System (REMS)

REMS (Resource Entitlement Management System) is a tool for managing access rights to resources, most importantly scientific datasets. A researcher can fill in a data access application which REMS then circulates to the dataser owner (or his/her representative(s)) for review and approval. REMS provides also necessary reporting functionality and the integrations to the dataset catalogue (for dataset metadata import to REMS) and the Policy Enforcement Point (for enforcing the access rights granted on REMS).

The Unifor Generic Redirector (UGR) is the core of the Storage federation system that we designed and built to match with the existing and upcoming Grid-related data management architectures. The system is able to federate storage sites and metadata endpoints that expose a suitable data access protocol, into a transparent, high performance storage federation that exposes a unique name space. GVSS2

Grid Virtual Screening Services (GVSS2)

GVSS is developed for large-scale drug screening. It vastly reduces the cost and time of screening by the distributed computing infrastructure. From data preparation, docking simulation, results analysis to visualization, all the services in the virtual screening process are supported by the GVSS web portal. Both Audock version 3 and version 4 are supported by GVSS2 now. GVSS also provides around 700 proteins from Protein Data Bank and about 10 million drug compounds from the ZINC database as the default data source.

GOCDB Grid Information Registry (GOCDB)

A repository for recording and querying for Grid topology information including NGIs, Sites, Services, URLs, Users/Contacts, Service Downtimes. Records what sites/services/downtimes are meant to be functioning at a particular snapshot in time. Provides a Web portal interface and REST style API for querying data in XML Key component of European Grid Infrastructure.

The Worker Nodes on Demands Service (WNoDeS) is a software INFN is developing. It is built around a tight integration with a LRMS (a "batch system") and is running in production at the INFN Tier-1 Computing Center. Its main characteristics are:
